HomeGoods : STYLESCOPE $500 Gift Card Giveaway

This was so much fun so I wanted to share with my readers! It takes only a minute to do and my results are… (drum roll please)  VEGAS BABY with a touch of BOHO. Let’s see if you agree.

When I’m not doing photography, decorating is my 2nd love! Below are some photos of my bedroom. The vanity and dresser were two antique art deco pieces that belonged to my great grandmother; I bought the large painting on the mantle, the faux animal throw, the brown chair, the ottoman, and the throw pillows at HomeGoods; The two heads on the dresser belonged to my grandmother; I picked up the old painting from a local antique store and then combined colorful linens and accessories to complement the colors in the painting.

My clothes are on racks behind the damask blue curtains that hang from the ceiling to the floor and across the length of the room. Wall shelving to hold my jeans, purses, a necklace tree and glamorous gold nightstand (that I also purchased at HomeGoods) displays my jewelry and holds lingerie. The Viva Las Vegas head ornament on the jewelry tree is something I purchased a few years back at a yard sale.

The night stand next to my bed is an old cocoa bakers box that I bought at an auction. And the lamp was an item I nabbed from a friend that was going to throw it away! The book “I Married Adventure” was a gift from my mother.

HomeGoods is one of my favorite places to shop! I combine their great finds with my style and it works.  La Dolce Vita’s blog spot is another place that I find great inspiration. On a final note… I have to say, I think HomeGoods STYLESCOPE was ‘spot on’ with my style!!!  Here’s to VEGAS BABY with a touch of Boho!
