Kaitlyn and Janero : St. Louis Church and The Other Barn

08/26/2011

I initially met Kaity in early January 2011, when she and three of her friends came to do hair and make-up for the boudoir models at my location shoot. Kaity is a blast. Not only is she beautiful she’s just totally cool. Nothing seems to phase her …she just seems to go with the flow and she is so easy to love. When I heard that she was getting married to her longtime love, Janero, including their three adorable children, I was so hoping that I would be taking her wedding pics!

Ok, now fast forward 6+ months and it’s the wedding day. YAY!!!!!!!!! And I’m taking the pics 🙂  Kaity’s wedding dress was by Casablanca… and once I saw it my jaw dropped and I became completely obsessed. It was covered with bead work and a lovely long train ever. Her blonde hair was perfectly coiffed into victory rolls and when she was finally ready she just oozed total STYLE and GLAM!!!!!

And her sister (Nikki, the matron of honor) and ALL the bridesmaids were gorgeous too!!!!! OK and those guys….I can’t forget the guys… they were pretty hot as well!

Kaity and Janero were married at St. Louis Church. The architecture inside this place is amazing and the lighting was perfect (since we are natural light junkies). It was totally one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding. Their reception was held at The Other Barn, a venue that is reminiscent of a Barn but built for events. The look was Hollywood glam meets a barn shindig. The catering was provided by Famous Dave’s. Their yummy menu of pulled pork, beans, rice, corn muffins and large pink tubs filled with iced drinks, completed the theme.

You can see their entire “real wedding” on my website. Here’s a few of the best from their day.

Is she beautiful or what !
